Grammar tip of the day

I've always wondered what the rules for whether to put punctuation inside or outside of quotations marks. Apparently it depends on a combination of logic (is the punctuation part of the quote or part of the sentence as a whole) and punctuation type (comma and period vs. exclamation mark and question mark).
